Tockwith festival ...
In 2009 we started out as craft beer festival in the village hall and soon grew into a destination festival held on the sportsfield. The large festival takes an army of people power and endless hours of planning and organisation to bring it to life. Not to mention an incredible outlay of cash to ensure its the talk of the local community and beyond.
For now we have rested the large festival. We still run our intimate small scale events in the village hall and these are well supported and sell out quickly. These smaller events bring all the atmosphere of the festival and offer an inclusive event for all the family.
There is always a great selection of local beers to sample, after all we did start out as a beer festival. As well as our local beers there's wine, craft cider & lager and soft drinks. The new addition Gin Bar has proved to be a big hit over the last couple of festivals.
A fabulous line up of local entertainment entertains throughout the day leading up to our lively festival bands in the evening. There's always a choice of food options from our festival street food vendors.

Music
We Kick off the day with a selection of musicians and singers who regularly perform at local Open Mike sessions. They will provide a great backdrop to get the afternoon started.
The 'Open Mikers' will be followed by the 'Chance to Shiners'. This talented group of singers are made up of the previous winners of this competition which the Festival team run to identify, encourage and support new young musical talent within the local area.
